If you do, you'll miss something - time is just flying past.
Work has been consuming - board meetings, reports, our AGM (all too much politics and egos!) - A great event marking the topping off (the last piece of the structure) of our new building - one of the things that eats up my time - can someone figure out how to speed up retirement!!
Had the great pleasure of dinner with Keith and Karen when they were here in Toronto - we were all so busy we had to work to find time.
There was a 50th birthday party - an 85th birthday party - memorial lunch for my mother and memorial BBQ for my uncle (her brother). More family than I have experienced in the last 40 years!
Pride Week is here - too many parties - too much drinking - hopefully lots of sun - A harbour cruise, a parade, friends and fun - a great blast before heading south for the respite of the jungle
Packing is complete except for the computer and toothbrush.
Have you ever dreamed about that little piece of paradise that is all your own? We did! ... and so we bought a piece of land in Costa Rica and built our dream home. This is our window on life on the Pacific coast - and the complications of things that hold us in Toronto.
